Frequently asked questions

Need clarity

Answers to the questions we hear most often from donors and people searching for blood.

How do I register as a blood donor on LifeDrop

Open the registration page, fill in your name, blood group, city, and a phone or WhatsApp number, then agree to be contacted. Your entry is reviewed by an administrator before it appears in public search results.

Why is my registration marked as pending

Every new registration starts as pending so an administrator can check the details before it becomes searchable. This keeps the donor list trustworthy for people relying on it in an emergency.

Is my phone number visible to everyone

No, your number stays masked in search results until a visitor chooses to reveal it. You can also request removal of your details at any time through your private management link.

How often can I donate blood

Most donors become eligible again 90 days after their last donation. LifeDrop calculates your next eligible date automatically once you share your last donation date.

What is the urgent blood requests board

It is a board where anyone can post an urgent need for blood, visible to nearby donors immediately without approval. Requests automatically expire after three days to keep the board relevant.

What does the verified badge mean

A verified badge means an administrator has personally confirmed that donor's details, giving people who search a little extra confidence when reaching out.

How do I update or remove my details

Use the private management link you were shown right after registering to toggle your availability or share your last donation date. To remove your entry entirely, flag a removal request from that same page and an administrator will complete it.
